Their goal is a heart disease-free America.  Ms. Wosu is a graduate of the WomenHeart 2003 Science & Leadership Symposium at Mayo Clinic.

In 2006, WomenHeart developed a joint project along with their Scientific Advisory Board and the Society for Women’s Health Research known as the 10Q Report.  The report identified the top 10 unanswered research questions affecting women and heart disease and asked Congress to re-direct NIH funding to answer the questions in order to improve the quality of women's cardiac care and reduce their deaths by 50% in 10 years.   As a National Spokeswoman, Ms. Wosu and her colleagues fielded commentary from the media in their local regions on this historic initiative for women with heart disease.

She has worked with Congress to address key issues of heart health awareness for the nation and continues to work to encourage the nation’s senators and representatives that heart disease is a matter of profound magnitude and scope which must be addressed in a timely and efficient matter as heart disease impacts the populous of the state of the nation as a whole in a disparaging manner.  Her work as an Advocate for heart disease will not cease until she has brought this overwhelming realization to the corporate world that has the ability to fund research and provide more effective programs and initiatives for a better work-life balance for their employees which ultimately will impact the overall health of the nation.
